Professional Projects
In 2017, for the fourth year in a row, I joined the Göttinger university excursion into the Tarn canyon (fr: Gorges du Tarn) in South-West France. The excursion is about adventure education and here is my cinematic attempt at capturing it. (Best watched on a large screen in 4K.) More on the film process in my blog post here.
In 2018, I realized version II.
In the spring, I joined the talented Merle Mönster in Dakhla for a kitesurfing project.
There, I met some other pros, namely Mikaila Sol, Claudia León Martínez, Fabio Ingrosso, Paul Serin, Aron Rosslee, Stefan Spiessberger and Anthar Racca and filmed them too. More about the trip here.
In the previous two winter seasons, I joined several ski camps from skicamps.de as a photographer and videographer in Austria, Switzerland and Norway. Here are some corresponding edits.
The YourGreeconomy Project
In October 2015, together with four fellow students from the Georg August University of Göttingen, thanks to Creativity and Studies (Kreativität im Studium) we flew to Greece to film a documentary about the ongoing crisis. We wanted to experience economics – our common subject of studies – from a different angle and interviewed people our age in Athens.
For more information about the project you may visit our main webpage, read our blog post or watch the film’s trailer. The full 37-minute documentary can be watched below.
Personal Projects
Being a kitesurf and ski instructor and having grown up in Southern France, I have had the opportunity to see many beautiful places in this world. Here is what I would like to share.
(And Version II two years later)
Activism
I somehow got hired to film a few events concerning the fossil free divestment campaign this year, in particular the KOHLEerSETZEN (replace coal) demonstration in Leipzig. It was impressive to see the real version of Mordor in person and definitely frightening to be monitored and followed 24/7 by police (including two choppers constantly circling the sky).
